VERGO IN PRACTICE

Applied to real work, in real workplaces.

Vergo has worked with industry organizations and employers to apply video-based analysis to real workplace tasks, helping teams better understand physical demands and identify practical ways to improve how work is done.

INDUSTRY PILOTS

From manufacturing to continuing care.

These initiatives reflect different pilot activities. They are presented separately so that each organization's involvement is clear.

2026 · MULTI-EMPLOYER PILOT

CME Nova Scotia

After initial planning in late 2025, Vergo and Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Nova Scotia began the workplace phase of their industry-led pilot in 2026, applying video-based analysis to physical tasks across participating companies.

MAY 2026 · PUBLISHED PILOT STORY

Shannex

In its published story, Shannex described a workplace safety pilot bringing together Vergo, WCB Nova Scotia and Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters. Shannex reported submitting dozens of tasks for assessment from its facilities, including servery, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance and clinical activities.

The initiative used short recordings of everyday work to examine movement and posture, giving participating teams a clearer starting point for improving job design and finding safer ways of working.

WORKPLACE INJURY PREVENTION

A CME initiative referenced in Nova Scotia's prevention framework.

WCB Nova Scotia's Protect More Strategic Plan 2024–2030 places workplace injury prevention among its three pillars. The province's Safer Workplaces Together framework puts that priority into action.

Under its musculoskeletal injury prevention action plan, the framework specifically identifies sharing findings from a Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)-driven initiative using AI-powered ergonomic analysis (page 10). CME Nova Scotia carried out its AI workplace-analysis initiative in collaboration with Vergo.

The framework also calls for an MSI Community of Practice where employers and safety associations can share lessons and practical approaches to physical risk factors (page 9). CME Nova Scotia and Vergo have also helped host Community of Practice sessions as part of their own industry engagement.
