Introduction

Vergo is operated by 10520136 Canada Limited, a federally incorporated Canadian company with its head office in Regina, Saskatchewan. This Privacy Policy explains how Vergo collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information obtained through this website and related communications.

Vergo handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and applicable provincial private-sector privacy legislation.

Accountability and Privacy Officer

10520136 Canada Limited is accountable for the personal information under its control, including information transferred to service providers for processing.

Vergo has designated a Privacy Officer who is responsible for compliance with this policy and applicable privacy law. The Privacy Officer can be reached at hello@vergo.ai with the subject Privacy.

Workplace recordings in the Vergo product

Vergo is designed to assess tasks and workplace conditions, not to monitor workers. Users typically capture 35 seconds or less of video showing only the movement or task being reviewed. Continuous recording of a worker’s shift or general workplace activity is not required.

  • Vergo uses Amazon Web Services to host customer data.
  • Data hosting can be configured based on the country where the customer is located and applicable data residency requirements.
  • Data belonging to Canadian customers is stored in Canada.
  • Only users authorized by the customer can access recordings.
  • No one at Vergo can view customer recordings.
  • Customers retain control over their recordings and are encouraged to delete a recording once the assessment results have been reviewed or downloaded and the original recording is no longer required.

Vergo does not state a fixed retention period or automatic deletion timeline for customer recordings, because no such timeline is implemented. Deletion is controlled by the customer.

The organization that records a task is responsible for meeting applicable notice, consent, workplace policy, collective agreement and legal requirements before recording begins.

Privacy incidents
